Anna K. Rush
Founding Partner
Anna Rush is a seasoned attorney and dedicated community advocate rooted deeply in her hometown of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After graduating from Mississippi State University, Anna attended law school at the University of Mississippi, where she made her mark as a distinguished member of the Moot Court Board, President of the Law Association of Women, and the elected Student Body Attorney General.
Following her passion for public service, Anna took her talents to Capitol Hill, joining the legislative team for Mississippi’s Fourth Congressional District. Driven by a strong sense of purpose, she returned home in 2018 to establish Rush Law Firm, blending her extensive legal expertise with an authentic commitment to her community.

Anna currently serves as the lead prosecutor for the City of Hattiesburg, as well as the prosecutor for the City of Sumrall and the attorney for the City of Bassfield. Her leadership and professional integrity have earned her prominent roles, including past presidencies of the South Central Mississippi Bar Association, Hattiesburg Young Lawyers, and the Downtown Hattiesburg Association. Anna also holds the position of President-Elect for the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar and is an active member of the Board of Directors for both the Mississippi Center for Legal Service and the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Program—organizations dedicated to providing essential legal support to underserved communities.
Away from her professional life, Anna thrives in exploring new destinations, passionately restoring century-old homes in downtown Hattiesburg, and occasionally losing her patience with an ambitious vegetable garden.
